On a memorable day, the 4th of July 2011, the village of Lavhali came alive with the echoes of celebration and triumph as Lakshya Foundation proudly celebrated the “Joy of Success.” This celebration was dedicated to the remarkable achievement of 27 tribal children who, against all odds, passed their SSC examinations with flying colors, thanks to the unwavering support of Lakshya Foundation.
These extraordinary students had faced the harsh realities of poverty, which forced them to drop out of school and contribute to their families’ livelihoods. However, their destinies took a transformative turn when Lakshya Foundation extended a helping hand. Just a year prior, the foundation reached out, listened, and encouraged these young minds to reclaim their education. Through both moral and financial assistance, Lakshya Foundation enabled them to fill out the crucial Form No. 17, granting them the opportunity to appear for Grade 10 exams as external students. The foundation also enrolled them in coaching classes to ensure their success.
As the results came in, marking their triumph over adversity, a heartwarming celebration ensued. The felicitation ceremony not only honored the hard work and dedication of these students but also inspired their peers to dream bigger and strive harder. The presence of Ashatai Mittu from Janhvi Charitable Trust, Arjun Menon from Amada Organisation, Ashley Pierera, and other esteemed guests added a touch of shared pride and encouragement.
Among the attendees were also the passionate members of Team Lakshya Foundation, who had stood beside these students throughout their journey.
